Delhi offers robust opportunities in medical education, with a total of 10 medical colleges providing MBBS courses and a combined seat count of 1,397. Of these, 1,147 MBBS seats are available in 8 government medical colleges, while the remaining 250 seats are offered by 2 private medical colleges. In Delhi’s government medical colleges, 15% of MBBS seats are reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ) and are filled through MCC Counseling, while the remaining 85% of seats fall under the State Quota and are allotted through counseling conducted by the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, and other respective authorities depending on the institution.
