As the official counselling authority, the Medical Council Committee (MCC) uploads a PDF document on its website before the counselling process starts. The NEET merit list 2025, containing the names, AIR, and scores of qualified candidates, is released beforehand.

Annually, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) revises the NEET 2025 Seat Matrix to accommodate changes in available medical seats. 1. Go to the MCC website – www.mcc.nic.in.
2. Register yourself by clicking the ‘Register Now’ button.
3. Fill out the form with personal details (name, roll number, contact info, etc.).
4. Check and verify all the entered information before submitting.
5. Receive login credentials (roll number & password) via email.
6. Log in using your roll number and password.
7. Confirm your registration by reviewing all details.
8. Submit the form and download the confirmation slip.

Step 2: NEET Counselling 2025 Fees – Payment Process

1. After completing the official registration, candidates will be directed to pay the NEET 2025 counselling fees.
2. The payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

Step 3: Selecting Preferences for NEET 2025 Counselling

After successful registration and payment, aspirants enter the next phase of NEET 2025 counselling—choice filling, where they select their preferred colleges and courses.

1. Candidates must first log in to the MCC website to access the choice filling section.
2. They should carefully select courses and colleges from the available options.
3. Multiple choices can be entered, allowing aspirants to apply to various institutions.
4. Prioritizing selections by setting first, second, and third choices is recommended.
5. Aspirants can modify their list by adding or removing choices before final submission.
6. Once satisfied, they must lock their preferences to confirm their selections.
7. It's important to save a copy, as changes cannot be made after submission.

Step 4: NEET Counselling 2025 – Seat Allotment Stage

1. Authorities generate the seat allotment list for NEET 2025 counselling.
2. Seat allocation depends on candidates’ choices and their All India Rank.
3. The list is officially published on MCC’s portal after every round.
4. Candidates who secure a seat receive an official allotment letter.
5. The seat allotment process continues until all rounds are completed.
6. A final mop-up round is conducted to allocate any remaining seats.

1. Indian Citizenship Requirement for NEET 2025:- To appear for NEET 2025 and participate in the counselling process, candidates must be Indian citizens, as citizenship is a mandatory eligibility criterion.
2. Eligibility for Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs):- OCIs are eligible for NEET 2025 and the counselling process. Those with foreign citizenship but an Indian background, including those born in India or having Indian parents/grandparents, are allowed to apply and take part in the counselling.
3. NEET Counselling for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs):- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), who are Indian citizens but live outside of India, can register for NEET 2025 and participate in the counselling process.
4. Foreign Nationals in NEET 2025:- Foreign Nationals, who are not Indian citizens, can apply for the NEET 2025 exam and participate in the counselling process, subject to meeting certain eligibility conditions.
5. NEET 2025 Counselling for PIOs:- Although not Indian citizens, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) can join the NEET 2025 counselling process and follow their medical career path.
6. Jammu & Kashmir Medical Candidates in NEET 2025:- Medical aspirants from Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to participate in NEET 2025 counselling and can apply for the 15% All India quota, which includes seats in the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune.
